While we may have not yet personally met them we are glad to help spread the word about their company, please enjoy this week’s interview with Notion Skate Company.

Why did you choose the name notion skateboards?
We were honestly just throwing names out and Notion was what spoke to us the most. Two guys with different views on what skateboarding is to them, Our Notion.

Where are you based out of?
We are based out of Cambridge, Ontario.

What inspired you to start a skate company?
Having our own skate company is something we wanted to do since high school. We did our own things for a while had families, jobs etc. but always skated and eventually were like why not let’s do it.

What products do you offer?
We do a wide variety of things like Decks, T-shirts, and hoodies. We have Toques, ball caps, and make our own wax and stickers.

Where can people view available products?
You can find our stuff on our Instagram and Facebook pages. You can see our stuff in person at Grand River Skate Shop.

What does skateboarding mean to you?
Skateboarding is something that has always been really important to us. No matter where we have been in life that was something that we always shared. It’s been a major part our friendship like an anchor.

Any dreams with the company?
We would love to see our company grow and be a staple in our community. Through Notion We have been able to help our local skate community with making a new skatepark and we would like to continue that.

Anyone you’d like to thank?
We would like to thank our Families and friends along with Hespeler needs a skatepark and Grand River Skate Shop.
